    Has anyone considered that “Ducks drub” is a pretty cool alliteration that might be good for generating clicks?

    Just look at the ESPN win probability throughout both games vs USC and you can understand why one is considered a drubbing and the other is considered surviving.


    Also in this context, it means UW “survived” the gaffe and was able to overcome and win despite the potential momentum swing.

    If anything it is being complimentary.
