Coaching predictions

2015 Jim Harbaugh to Michigan
2016 RichRod to Oregon.

2016 Malzahn to NFL
2016 Saban to Texas
Coaches around the country start feverishly jerking off while reaching for the phone. -
Helfrich will buy himself at least another year as Oregon winning the North was greatly helped by Seven Win Steve.
Harbaugh going to Michigan at this point has to be even money.
Agree that there's a good chance that Malzahn gets better offers than Auburn - he's an offensive genius. The more success that Chip has in the NFL, the greater the likelihood that Malzahn gets a comparable offer.
Not sure I agree with Saban to Texas, but I would be surprised if Strong is the coach in 2016 for Texas.
I think Dan Mullen has a good shot to be the Florida coach in 2015. -

Swaye to Fauquier County Correctional Flag Football Team

Harbaugh to Dallas Cowboys

I'm hearing Harbaugh wants a Lombardi (ILTCWTSBWAL) since his brother and Carroll have them.
-
2015 Sark to OC at San Diego State.

I think Oregon would be smart enough to avoid Rich Rodriguez. A top program shouldn't hire a retread who has already gotten his big shot. I don't get what is so great about him. The Big East was terrible when he was doing well at West Virginia. He's nothing special.
-
They should at least give him 3 years thoughRoadDawg55 said:I think Oregon would be smart enough to avoid Rich Rodriguez. A top program shouldn't hire a retread who has already gotten his big shot. I don't see Harbaugh leaving the NFL for Michigan until he wins a super bowl. If he leaves SF, he would be the most coveted coach in the world, and I don't think the competitive nature in him will let him walk away from the ultimate challenge to start another rebuild job.

At Arizona? You bet.ThomasFremont said:

So the 3 year RoadDoog rule only applies to unproven coordinators in their first HC gig.RoadDawg55 said:

Got it.

2017 Sark door ass out
2018 Justin Wilcox to Oregon
2018 Todd Graham to Texas A&M
2019 Sark QB coach San Diego Chargers
2028 Chris Petersen retires at UW -
Fixed. UT likes shiny objects and has a lot of money, and his offenses are as shiny as can be. Nobody wants to be the Auburn coach for a long time.doogsinparadise said:2016 Malzahn to

Agree with Mullen. Can't picture the Ducks hiring RichRod either, and I think Helfrich will last a few more years as I picture Shaw and Stanford coming back down to earth first in the next couple of years. Hard to fire an 8-11 win/season coach which I think he'll keep up for a little while.
No clue on Michigan...they will throw the kitchen sink at Harbaugh, but think he says no because he wants to win a Super Bowl first. After him and yet another attempt at Les Miles no clue who they go after...with Michigan State doing well, a demanding fan base, and the wreck that Hoake is leaving it in the job itself kinda blows. Would be surprised if a top HC somewhere leaves where they are at for it...think they are going to have to gamble on a young head coach and hope for the best.
Also picture Hugh Freeze getting a big gig in the next two years if he gets a couple of 9+ winning seasons at Old Miss...no good coach will stay there long either.

2015 Sark to El Camino CC as QB/nutrition coach
2017 Saban to coach Alabama Crimson Tide expansion team in NFL
2020 Chip Kelly to Seattle Seahawks after trading Super Bowl wins with Carroll, Carroll retires -

Saban isn't leaving Bama for Tejas

I think USC gives Sark 5 years, he can live off the excuse of the sanctions for four of those. Mora to Dallas in 2018, Nike will stand pat at least until 2017 and throw money and gifts as needed to keep the talent pool fresh.
-
Sark to HC either UNM or New Mexico State in 2016. Book it.
-
Rich rod to oregon is retarded. The 1st two make sense but Florida is going for a huge hire next time.Mullen isnt that.
-
No way sark gets 5 years at SC. Those elitist pricks need to be better than their rivals and will run him for going 0-2 against UCLA and ND year after year.Vegasdawg said:I think USC gives Sark 5 years, he can live off the excuse of the sanctions for four of those. I can't see Sark lasting more than 3 years at USC. My guess is Haden will realize he hired Kiffin 2.0Vegasdawg said:I think USC gives Sark 5 years, he can live off the excuse of the sanctions for four of those. Then again it is PatHadenFS so anything is possible. -
Sark will get 4 years and could easily cost Haden his job too. I see Seven being fired November 2017 and maybe being QB coach of the Rams when they return to LA. Or he may become manager in training at Hooters for the free wings.
-
This...Haden won't hire another coach at USC. If Sark flames out Haden is door-ass-out first before he has a chance to fire Sark and hire again.Disciple_2_Hole said:Sark will get 4 years and could easily cost Haden his job too.
I know I'm in the minority here but I still think Sark will do decent there...he'll lay road eggs on a yearly basis and won't compete for national championships, but he'll win at least 8 or 9 games/year and will be around a while.
-
Another way to say 8 or 9 wins is 3 or 4 losses. Not at USC. Not for longHoustonHusky said:

He's already taken more heat in three games with one loss than in five years here. His ego wrote a check that his coaching acumen can't cash
8 or 9 wins here might work. Not there -

Charlie Weiss or Bill Snyder will have a heart attack/stroke during a live telecast.
-
Les Miles to Michigan at the end of this year.
LSU won't give him a choice.
