Helfrich will buy himself at least another year as Oregon winning the North was greatly helped by Seven Win Steve.
Harbaugh going to Michigan at this point has to be even money.
Agree that there's a good chance that Malzahn gets better offers than Auburn - he's an offensive genius. The more success that Chip has in the NFL, the greater the likelihood that Malzahn gets a comparable offer.
Not sure I agree with Saban to Texas, but I would be surprised if Strong is the coach in 2016 for Texas.
I think Dan Mullen has a good shot to be the Florida coach in 2015.

I think Oregon would be smart enough to avoid Rich Rodriguez. A top program shouldn't hire a retread who has already gotten his big shot. I don't get what is so great about him. The Big East was terrible when he was doing well at West Virginia. He's nothing special.

I don't see Harbaugh leaving the NFL for Michigan until he wins a super bowl. If he leaves SF, he would be the most coveted coach in the world, and I don't think the competitive nature in him will let him walk away from the ultimate challenge to start another rebuild job.

They should at least give him 3 years though
At Arizona? You bet.
So the 3 year RoadDoog rule only applies to unproven coordinators in their first HC gig.

Fixed. UT likes shiny objects and has a lot of money, and his offenses are as shiny as can be. Nobody wants to be the Auburn coach for a long time.
Agree with Mullen. Can't picture the Ducks hiring RichRod either, and I think Helfrich will last a few more years as I picture Shaw and Stanford coming back down to earth first in the next couple of years. Hard to fire an 8-11 win/season coach which I think he'll keep up for a little while.
No clue on Michigan...they will throw the kitchen sink at Harbaugh, but think he says no because he wants to win a Super Bowl first. After him and yet another attempt at Les Miles no clue who they go after...with Michigan State doing well, a demanding fan base, and the wreck that Hoake is leaving it in the job itself kinda blows. Would be surprised if a top HC somewhere leaves where they are at for it...think they are going to have to gamble on a young head coach and hope for the best.
Also picture Hugh Freeze getting a big gig in the next two years if he gets a couple of 9+ winning seasons at Old Miss...no good coach will stay there long either.

And gus is white. Fits in with the texas mantra of "the slaves players play, the masters coach leads UT to championship"

I think USC gives Sark 5 years, he can live off the excuse of the sanctions for four of those. Mora to Dallas in 2018, Nike will stand pat at least until 2017 and throw money and gifts as needed to keep the talent pool fresh.

2016 Saban to Texas
Coaches around the country start feverishly jerking off while reaching for the phone.
