Hate McCarthy for reneging on a couple promises. But what I’m see on here is that most of you don’t remember or even know that you have to give and take to get what it is that you really want in Congress. Kinda like the Newt Clinton games.
And from what I see most of you are butthurt about the border wall. Ignoring that the Biden admin has pledged to finish it anyway after the ouster.
So now there are no viable Republican options for Speaker now. And its because not only can the Republicans not negotiate effectively with the other Party. They can’t even do so within their own party.
It’s an embarrassment.
And the other team didn’t get anything either. Other than a stop gap spend to keep the lights on. -
That is the problem with American squishes. Lots of nice platitudes, promises and virtue signaling and then they just fold like a cheap card table. McCarthy made some promises to the House Republicans. He then proceeded to ignore the promises and caved during negotiations. The same dems that cut barbed wire, demand barriers in the Rio Grande be removed and open border doors to let in illegals have no intent to stop the illegal floods. Remember when Rubio swallowed Schumer's immigration enforcement lies like a little bitch? -
