The old Husky Stadium had a track around it so you were further away. But it also seated a few thousand more people.RoadTrip said:
So was old Husky stadium louder? There was a point in the 1st quarter today when ABC was having issues with the noise.fivehundredmileDAWG said:It was not as loud as Nebraska in ‘91 or Miami 2000 but easily 3rd for me.
For personal satisfaction this game was the Schadenfreud of a lif Tim.
Seriously … this was an all tim er. -
My problem when it comes to gauging noise levels, I am one of the folks screaming like a freaking harrier jet on takeoff, so can’t accurately/honestly judge.
My ears hurt though. -
If you cared you'd get it pregnant and make a useful fan.PurpleJ said:I’m skeptical of the noise chart. Not the loudest husky game ive ever been to, but maybe not being under the roof skewed that a bit. Still pretty loud. Brb gonna fuck a jet engine in the ass.

It was loud. But far from the loudest I’ve ever heard at HS.
Overal, though, I thought the crowd was good. -
Loud as fuck. Loudest I’ve heard post-renovation. The stadium is just not as loud as it was when it was less structurally sound.
