Didn't read the article. Maybe I should before asking, did Dimbright ever turn in a series of three buttfuckery retard calls in a game that big? I just don't recall. Tar and feather me if you covered it.
While we're at it on Lan, let me help my Duck friends with a little simple math:
Mario 3, UW 0
Danning 0, UW 2
Danning didn't inherit a dumpster fire either. Oh, sure, he's improved Oregon here and there. But in the BWNEM category, he sucks. Whatever Mario is or is not doing at Miami doens't help the foregoing stat.
Some more basic math:
You lost by 3 points, and you volunteered to not take 6 points. As for the painfully stupid rationale, nobody at the P5 level coaches assuming the other team is going to score a TD on every single possession. Nobody. And, in fact, after slapping the Penix around in the second half a bit (recall my post?), Washington was not, in fact, scoring TDs on every single drive. Just Dumb.
3rd and whatever. Let's see. 2 min and change, UW 1 TO, and give Penix a short field, or 2 min and change, UW 1 TO, and make him drive it, in a situation where your D has been pinning their ears back and making him hurry and miss. What to do? You miss it with some shit play calling I might add and now momentum goes to the other team and their ace all of sudden doesn't feel as much pain anymore.
Whoever he is, he's not the guy but will win enough games to prevent his firing.

The only line I disagreed with was saying Oregon joined CFB’s elite. I reserve that word for teams that win natties and there’s no natty for Oregon.
First, that was some technically gifted writing of the first order.
Second, the FREE PUB I gathered in that article will sustain me through the long dark winter that approaches.
Lastly, I am legally changing my name to Swaye so that anyone who reads that will know it was me who said it.
