He should catch the arrow that Penix shoots and then do the heisman pose with a fake arrow instead of the ball.

I thought this was going to be a thread about taint licking.

Edit: Odunze is the best wide receiver I can recall at UW. Reggie was awesome, but an idiot. Rome is not an idiot. His future is surface of the sun hot.

#7 was the best. Maybe not the best, but my fav. If you know, you know

Great WR that doesn’t get mentioned here much.
Yeah I think he's second tier but definitely top of tier 2. There's an argument you could put him at the bottom of tier 1.

Top of my head no google like pump

    Tier 1
    Reggie
    Odunze
    Super Mario
    Ross
    Jalen

    Tier 2
    Pathon
    Polk
    Kearse
    Pettis
    Lonzell Hill
    Skansi
    Spider

    Tier 3
    McKay
    Coleman
    Andre Riley

Genuinely curious why Polk wouldn’t be Tier 1 with Jalen.

Agree, Polk got probably best hands on the team

I think it's a numbers thing right now. Up to now Polk has been #3 on his team. Now he's like 2a or 1c and could be on his way into tier 1.

Eye test says he's tier one. Him and Pathon are probably arguable. Pathon didn't have the benefit of an explosive or pass heavy offense or other good receivers to attract attention of defenses.

Kearse might be arguable too but I don't think he passes the eye test part. Solid tier 2 based on ability. He was the best on the team for what seemed like a decade though.

I love Polk but one has 1200 yards in his UW career while the other has 1900. That's a pretty substantial edge IMO (and I understand injury has something to do with that).

I think Polk is on Jalen's level this year but that's the first time that's been the case. If he finishes the year as well as he's started it he has a shot at Tier 1 for me. If he comes back next year he'll make Tier 1 almost assuredly.

He does but it's not like Rome or Jalen's hands are poor by any means.

I'd actually argue Polk has the best hands at UW since Mario unless someone wants to cape up for Dane Looker.

not saying their hands are worse, just arguing that he probably deserves to be in tier 1 category. In any given year, we would be sucking him off as a goat. He just unfortunately plays with 2 other studs that are better. Fucking embarrassing how deep the WR room is

Mo Hill is second tier? I think your brain is going soft with all that comedy you're playing with that young girl. Never tell anyone outside the family your top wide receivers list again.

So I was like 7 years old when he finished here, I remember liking him and him being a fairly high draft pick (3rd roundish)? And I was trying not to be too recency biased in the list. Want to say we had another decent WR with him, Brian Slater maybe? What was the issue with Hill? Drops? Inconsistency?

What on God's green earth leads you to to believe there were issues with Mo Hill?

he was a great wide receiver in a time before UW used the one-back. He was a 2nd round pick of the Saints. I don't recall any stretch where dropped passes or ran bad routes. He was GREAT and tough. Took hits and talked a little smack. Caught the winning TD to beat USC in 1985. He would fit right in with our current WR.

The two receivers he played with in his senior season were Daryl Franklin and Brian Slater. I think Andre Riley was a promising freshman that season as well, before assuming a position in the UW AD and firing Chuck Nelson to replace him with Damon Huard.

I think he’s a locker room guy that everyone respects but they know he’s injured and still wants to play so he gets a little bit of run here and there but is not fit to take on a blitzing lb consistently.

He’s also not as good as the other guys.
