Thoughts From the Weekend

College football is officially in its weirdest year... strong teams allover the map are struggling with cupcakes... games are having bizarre endings and I'm sure Vegas is laughing all the way to the bank.

UW was a dreck for the first half, but if I was to find a glimmer of hope, I'd have to say that I like to believe I saw a coach make halftime adjustments. Pettis is good chit.

Wine of the week is anything priced under $4 at Safeway, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market or Trader Joe's - they all can get you fairly drunk for a great price. I like to call them OKWs.

Why waste four bucks at the store when you can mix up a bathtub full of home brew?

Hey, as long as we're giving wine recs, does it drink like a merlot?

On a per ounce basis, I find that gin and bleach with a twist of drano has the desired effect

Yes, Pettis. I like the way he gets up field.

Wine of the week: Costco Kirkland brand Cab from the Stags Leap District. It's a cab that drinks like a cab and it's good shit. Save an empty expensive bottle and decant the costco wine. Set out the expensive empty and lead people to believe that's what they are drinking. They will be impressed and you will profit. Maybe even get laid.

100% serious +1. The Costco Cab is the shit. $8 for 1.5L. Aerate it and chug it.

    Also, Costco Vodka: fuck yeah.
It's not $8. More like $18. But still

Oh fuck me... I can't read.
I'm talking about the Kirkland Cab Sav. Which in VA is $8 for 1.5L and is good.

If it's labeled "Stags Leap" then they're bottling surplus grapes from Stags Leap, Pine Ridge, Chimney Rock, etc. Cadillac cabs that drink like cabs which is nice.

No bullshit buy a $2.99 latte foamer, pour any red in a glass, and take that foamer to it. 10 second aeration and makes almost anything drink like a champ.

2.99 might be a bit low. 10.99 maybe. But point taken. That's the spirit.

Next time you are in a Men's room, write Judes phone number on the stall. Make it happen.

Whoa! That is premium content you are poasting there.
