Pete is disqualified from being AD

We can do better.

Petersen has no business getting the AD job. I wouldn't think he'd want it anyway.

I don't think it's any accident that he's been hanging around like KramerTheHB said:Petersen has no business getting the AD job. I wouldn't think he'd want it anyway.

Pete not wanting to work anymore is what I respect most about him
-
I think he's been hanging around because UW has let him hang around. And paying him to do it. He knows the job would require too much work.DerekJohnson said:

I just hope we hire someone that likes the way college football is going.
-
Can Pete:
1. Get upper campus to help with the stadium debt?
2. Get the big boosters to step up with NIL funding - not just for returnees but recruits as well
3. Get DeBoer whatever he wants
If yes to all three, hire him
If no to any of the three, find someone who can -
Yeah, if you want an immediate announcement about ending all NIL at UW, hire Chris PetersenAtomicDawg said:I just hope we hire someone that likes the way college football is going.

He could probably accomplish the last one. The first two would require his burnt-out ass to get busy, and I don't see that happening.Geevis_and_Butthead said:Can Pete:

If Pete does get the jerb then @FireCohen can go back to @FirePete.

Those Ivory Tower Feegs should give the Athletic Dept and interest free loan to pay off the Husky Stadium debt. Or better yet, Bill Gates could rehabilitate his public image in Seattle by paying off the loan.Geevis_and_Butthead said:Can Pete:

Exactly. In the spirit of laziness, we wouldn't have to come up with a new tag.YellowSnow said:If Pete does get the jerb then @FireCohen can go back to @FirePete.

Petersen doesn't want it.
Barnes or Chun would be more likely than him. -
I have don't blame Pete at all for wanting to retire at any early age, especially with all the bullshit that has befallen CFB.Neighbor2972 said:Pete not wanting to work anymore is what I respect most about him
I just wish he hadn't gotten our hopes up only to be crushed by his loss of interest in being an elite, innovative corch. -
I'm not saying I want Chun, don't twist, but if he's actually good at his job and UW hired him after leaving WSU to wander the MWC desert...not sure it could get any more hilarious.haie said:Petersen doesn't want it.

Couldn't work in Epstein? Sad.EsophagealFeces said:

does the new AD even “keep” Pete?
chun would take the job if he doesn’t get the osu job. to be fair, he’s done a good job at cuog getting shit built, they don’t have the money to pay for it (neither now nor prior to uw leaving the pac) but that’s cuog admin problem. -
So you're saying we(?) should just not hire an AD?AtomicDawg said:I just hope we hire someone that likes the way college football is going.

Listening to the radio this AM, Bruce Feldman thought there was very little chance that Peterson would be interested in the job. Says he's far more interested and engaged in mentorship stuff and working with active coaches.

He didn’t build shit. But He hired a decent Men’s Football and Bball coach and hit a Home Run for the always vaunted Women’s Bball program. But He hasn’t built much other than a better Baseball facility. And that was in the works before He got there. Won’t be surprised if the indoor practice facility gets the plug pulled.rodmansrage said:does the new AD even “keep” Pete?

He’s been a decent AD for WSU. But certainly no home run hire for a top 20 University. -
So a grand slam hire?Kaepsknee said:

building a 'better baseball facility' is what i consider a 'good job' by a cuog AD.Kaepsknee said:
