Wisely got out of a commercial lease group once Covid hit because I always see it. Have some associates completely fucked in SF/San Jose and Seattle on worthless properties. City is busy killing off the remaining tourism and convention business. Huge amounts of taxes were paid by people filling up the Hotels. Union Square is pretty much dead. House is almost paid off. I'm working another 7 years until retirement. Thankfully, I don't live in the city I just work here. The state is completely mismanaged and one big liberal cluster fuck but you really can't beat the weather. Not likely I could get a job in Montana making what I make here. I was n SLO and Paso Robles this past weekend and Carmel and Monterrey two weeks before that. Life is still pretty damn good in those areas. After I retire I'm most likely out but we're still debating where that might be. Hard to beat some place that I never need to run the A/C and only need to heat 3 to 4 months out of the year.EverettChris said:

Drove through it today. My wife pointed at all the homeless, I told her nevermind that, look at all the empty buildings. Completely dystopian and surreal. Even the upscale retail still left had signs missing letters and graffiti all over the windows.SFGbob said:

I literally couldn't help but laugh at how completely degraded it's become. People are still going to Pilates classes with their masks on like this is all normal while some bum sits outside at the window high as a kite masturbating with his pants around his ankles. "That’s just San Francisco! Haha."
Staying in Marin area tonight and it's crazy how many homeless there are even in the upscale areas now. Same smug liberal attitudes though. Nothing but feeling superior while wallowing in your own literal filth. -
