House is almost paid off. I'm working another 7 years until retirement. Thankfully, I don't live in the city I just work here. The state is completely mismanaged and one big liberal cluster fuck but you really can't beat the weather. Not likely I could get a job in Montana making what I make here. I was n SLO and Paso Robles this past weekend and Carmel and Monterrey two weeks before that. Life is still pretty damn good in those areas. After I retire I'm most likely out but we're still debating where that might be. Drove through it today. My wife pointed at all the homeless, I told her nevermind that, look at all the empty buildings. Completely dystopian and surreal. Even the upscale retail still left had signs missing letters and graffiti all over the windows.SFGbob said:

I literally couldn't help but laugh at how completely degraded it's become. People are still going to Pilates classes with their masks on like this is all normal while some bum sits outside at the window high as a kite masturbating with his pants around his ankles. Staying in Marin area tonight and it's crazy how many homeless there are even in the upscale areas now. Same smug liberal attitudes though. Nothing but feeling superior while wallowing in your own literal filth. -

I drove the Going To The Sun road in Glacier Park today with our family. Have done it before but it is always a privilege. Same as Beartooth Pass by Red Lodge to Cooke City. I don’t have to pay the salaries of retards in state government, either. Seems foolish to stay there in CA to me and then support a Bush puppet.SFGbob said:

I’m out. Moved to Idaho. Been here about a month now, so far so good. I have a 100% remote job, so still making good income. I don’t think there is much reason to stay in the Bay Area. The weather, I will miss, but I also actually get seasons now. Maybe, if you have a good job, but there is so much pressure to get promoted, get a big raise, etc to keep up with the Jones.
