Dawgman is a clown show full of boomers who don't know how to use the internet. If you want to chase every recruiting rumor and side show then you can get all that on the discord chat or following some select Twitter accounts. If you just want regular beats then Vorel and Caple have you covered. If you want insane banter and an active message board then go to Hardcore Husky.
There is literally nothing that Dawgman excels at. -

Caple is good but I don't pay for sports news so don't have a lot of first hand info. Sounds like some good blogs have been suggested.
On the message board side of things, Dawgman was the best message board 20 years ago but it fell apart when two of their best writers (and a bunch of subscribers) left during the Ty Willingham era because they wanted to be far more critical of Willingham but Kim (the guy that owns/owned Dawgman) didn't want to see that level of criticism coming from his site. A lot of fans started viewing Kim as an ego-maniac Nazi that banned people that were critical of anything which he didn't think deserved criticism.
Those 2 writers (and a couple of boosters, alumns, fans, etc) started a site called HardcoreHusky -- which is can be a jarring experience the first time you go there because it is the opposite of Dawgman in the sense that Dawgman has a very heavy moderation hand, HardcoreHusky is much more tolerant -- which can be a mixed bag (they have a sub-board that appears to be infested with alt-right shitheads from all over the country).
A lot of fans that Kim banned wound up on HH. HH used to be mainly free (with donations accepted), and still has many free boards with okay information, but the hardcore insiders there share the best insider info on their insiders board now -- which I've never seen because it requires a larger donation than I want to give to join -- just to follow sports news.
It would be great if somebody started a balanced message board that caught on but it seems that for now we just have Dawgman's which is overly moderated, and HH which has some off-putting aspects. But if you want free stuff, HH probably has more free stuff available. -

The sad thing is we used to have a bunch of leftist shitheads in there too.
