canzono has a weird love affair with ollie luck, “pushed” him to be p12 commish.
I guess when you can get the former AD at WVU you have to do it? -
Imagine hiring Andrew luck’s dad to fix your problems.

we still haven't heard a mea culpa from Canzano who kept saying he had multiple sources "in the room" for the Pac-12 meetings and yet just about everything he predicted was wrongrodmansrage said:canzono has a weird love affair with ollie luck, “pushed” him to be p12 commish.

"I talked to Bob Thompson, the retired FOX president who is speculating and in no way knows what's going on" in every one of his articles was a sign. Thompson btw is an Oregon alum who also wanted Oregon and Washington to stay in the Pac 12.DerekJohnson said:

Water is wet, but he had WSU and OSU people talking to him so that he could lobby for the conference. ASU boosters were saying, "No one in that room trusts Oregon and Washington" yet WSU and OSU were just *sure* they were committed. And he parroted their bullshit for them. Lulz.
He's a clown which is why 1080, Isaac and Suke have always dominated him in this market. -
there were some posters on this board who had actual sources.DerekJohnson said:

canzano’s source was george. -

Canzano is a perfect examples of a guy who only has a job because of the Pac 12. He has no sources outside of the Pac 12, so everything that came out of his mouth came from them. He never had the connections elsewhere to get the other perspective.DerekJohnson said:

Which is exactly why you see calculated semantics from him like "war chest". He's trying to up his Q score or whatever, before the flames all die out on the west coast and he's grabbing coffee for copywriters at the gazette-times.greenblood said:

Stanford told its colleagues it had informed the ACC that it would be open to joining the conference at greatly reduced or even no media rights payout for several years
ACC supposed to vote on it Friday.
tree clearly desperate and/or insane. -
It's last hope of staying in a power conference because whatever happens to the Pac-4, it'll be filled with G5 teams like Fresno, Colorado St., and Wazzurodmansrage said:Stanford told its colleagues it had informed the ACC that it would be open to joining the conference at greatly reduced or even no media rights payout for several years
