    Canzano is a perfect examples of a guy who only has a job because of the Pac 12. He has no sources outside of the Pac 12, so everything that came out of his mouth came from them. He never had the connections elsewhere to get the other perspective.

    Which is exactly why you see calculated semantics from him like "war chest". He's trying to up his Q score or whatever, before the flames all die out on the west coast and he's grabbing coffee for copywriters at the gazette-times.

    Stanford told its colleagues it had informed the ACC that it would be open to joining the conference at greatly reduced or even no media rights payout for several years

    ACC supposed to vote on it Friday.

    It's last hope of staying in a power conference because whatever happens to the Pac-4, it'll be filled with G5 teams like Fresno, Colorado St., and Wazzu
