Saw Mavis perform in 2018 or 2019 at Railbird in sweltering heat. She’d have been 79 or 80 depending on the year….she was awesome.

Second only the Neil Young as Canada's greatest songwriter.
But their first two albums are as good as any of NY’s.
They just started to slide on album 3 and 4 and could keep it going.

They were still super tight in 1976 as a live act, but in terms of new material the fall off post Stage Fright (1970) was pretty steep.
