    The Pac4 could do a brilliant move by merging with the MW - take the wimpy PAC4 into a crappy 14 team league and, bingo the old group 5 teams have a chance for an automatic entry into the playoffs. Oregon St or Wazzou could become powerhouses. If they could get only get past Boise St and Fresno St

    Of course, this would have to be led by a commissioner with vision, George Kalishikov would have to go.

    Will not happen but it will be fun to watch all this over the next year.

    I've been saying this. The scrappy little Mountain Pac West would be a fun league and imo, worthy of an auto bid. The teams most able to pull decent washouts from the power conferences would dominate, and I don't see why that wouldn't be Oregon State. Them and WSU couldn't be a more perfect fit.

    They only fired their coach because the State mandated it.

    And with all of that considered, the new coach did pretty well all things considered. Blew your ass out his first year and went toe to toe with DeBeers for most of that game.
