    TBH, the <$600 Whirlpool and GE fridges I put in my rentals have been rock solid going on 10 years. Basic 2 door fridges with top freezers and ice-makers, but no dispensers of water or ice. The crisper drawers feel cheap and flimsy, but they've held up to renters wear and tear quite well.

    Sometimes simplicity is the most important quality.

    I don't get turned on by fridges.
