I’m a star whore. Also, beat the teams in recruiting that you want to beat on the field. U$c, whoregon, etc.bananasnblondes said:Eklund says we're getting 6 commits today. It's not difficult to figure out who they are. All seem like solid players with high upside, but none that will do anything to move the needle on the staff's reputation as recruiters.
These guys would move my needle.

Most likely UWs stuck in the P12. We are beating 2x b2b champ Utah for almost all these guys. Don’t twist.dirtysouwfdawg said:

Double checked today but vita and puffy face in a helmet (God bless him) Gaines were both 3 stars.

Man it's been forever since the last commit. I need another fix.

Did Oregon even have more 5*s than UW last year? I think Oregon had 3 (sewell, flowe, Conerly) and UW had at least 2 (huard, smalls).NEsnake12 said: -

Some auburn doog level goalpost movement there. Excellent work.RaceBannon said: -
Sure but top 100 is as good as stars. At least we'll be able to field a squadAtomicDawg said:

Top 100 in CA is a new metric to me. I figured most people here ignored stars and looked at OVs and offers as a better measure of predicting successRaceBannon said:

Going back to 2019 and prior, we didn't have many CA kids ranked 51-100, but of those, some were actually pretty decent:
Taj Davis
Newton
Haener

More concerned that some of their top targets canceled visits.
The d linemen Kirks and Johnson from ca are guys they singled out and went hard after. They are still undecided but those would be guys that they would have beat out some competition for. Most of the guys that have committed so far it just seems like we were their best offer. -

Beating Portland st and Utah tech is speshul.

Care about OVs and offers since that's what the coaches care aboutRaceBannon said:

DeBoer took what was here, added a piece or two, and won year 1
He's earned a second year. I'm done with recruiting and stars again. Just fucking win -
Are you not impressed with their stars? My favorite wtf Pete vs fetters moment.RaceBannon said:DeBoer took what was here, added a piece or two, and won year 1

All that matters is you identify guys you want and get some of them. We can't trot out our special Olympics 2022 secondary or 2019 linebacker and WR units and win anything of note. They go hand in hand with success. -
Other than the OSU game, their offense looked great all season. Their defense was and is still a fucking joke. Outside of CBs, they can’t recruit much defensive talent:haie said:
Oregon State also would have beat them at that point in the year. With Nolan gone and Rising hobbled.ntxduck said:

I have no idea what's coming. Utah and Oregon State were among the hottest teams at the end of the year. SC and Oregon underwhelmed.ntxduck said:
It turned out fine because your roster was/is still stacked with good upper class talent recruited by CP. As those guys graduate out/go to nfl, massive cracks in the dam are coming unless KDB can turn it around on the recruiting + portal front. You can pretend it’s not coming, but as of right now it definitely is headed that wayhaie said:Arizona has nothing. They're desperate because he has 2 seasons at most to make a bowl and he sucks. They're taking players forced out or dropped and he's promising all sorts of shit. His rapist locker room cancer QB is staying for a reason.
Why do CFB fans need this retarded jerkoff material so badly in June?
Last year it was the same shit with DeBoer. It can always get better but it turned out fine.
Fans don't know shit about any of this and lack a bunch of variables. I'm sorry. Makes it less fun in the off-season but it's true.
Yes Utah is a bad example. They played great in the one game they had to but Oregon played bad and still beat them.
OSU and UW were the hottest teams.
USC the Pac 12 all star team limped across the finish line and looked underwhelming a lot of the year. -

Most teams are an injury away but SC gets a little bit hurt and they're getting blown out by Utah and lose to G5.
No one in the Pac 12 should be intimidated by them and Caleb Williams. I don't think they will win the conference and they are the overwhelming favorite. -
In hindsight, I may be a bit weary of their rankings.
That said, at least he puts himself out there.
