Not seeing too many fatties among the natives of London. It’s kinda like NYC in that the public transit is good but you still gotta use your feet to get from a Tube station to your eventual destination. Amazing what walking just a few miles a day can do to cut down on obesity.

Probably helps that the food sucks

    I kid

    Not really

Americans eat too much. If I exercise less I eat less

    It's science
IFL fish and chips, bangers and mash and savory beef pies. Rule Britannia.

Being fat is still a math problem at the end of the day.

...I have noticed a lot of dudes that only workout their upper body, too. They look silly having arms bigger than their thighs, but to each their own I guess. I spend 2x as much time working on my lower body than I do upper, because I'm smart...

@YellowSnow on the peter puffer row machines, what's considered bad, good or elite? Pre covid gym steam room rendezvous I could hammer out quite a bit. Post covid it sad to see how far I've fallen body, not so much. That being said I've always wondered what were good numbers. Used to play ball with an elite peter puffer rower and another guy who did like those row machine comps and they were in amazing shape.

We have a rower and an elliptical. Wife will work out on occasion, me, not so much. I have a physically demanding job for 2/3 of year and am skinny by nature. I really should get my ass in gear and row for __min a day.... I think when you turn 40, most of your motivation for that kind of shit goes out the window, I'd rather drink beer and smoke cigars(why not both.gif)

Ellipticals are worthless than tits on a boar.

I drink beer, smoke cigars and erg regularly. The latter allows for the former.

I have a C2 at home, but I can't go two weeks without injuring something, so it's mostly a coat rack. Kind of a catch-22 of wanting to be in shape so I'm more durable but not being durable enough to get in shape.
