Been watching some highlights of last year recently and good god the safeties were bad, especially outside of Asa (and I don't think he's very good). Cook basically made the one play against Nix and then nothing else. Hampton was invisible and when he showed up it was giving up a touchdown. Becky London was crushed on third downs and in the red zone.

Asa made like 4 tackles on camera and posters went right back to praising him on here. If course they only saw the tackles, not the strategic misses. But yeah, Hampton was horrible. Even worse than Turner since he couldn't stay within 20' of a slot receiver. -
Hampton wasn’t a safety…but yeah, he sucks.
