  Cypress

  I’ll throw out a vote for Cypress Island. Most of it is state owned.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  Orcas number two with Eastsound, Moran State Park, Mt. Constitution.
  
  San Juan is great with Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor, the National Historical Park, and Limekiln State Park.
  
  Fidalgo is great too with Anacortes, Mt. Erie, Deception Pass, and across bridge and channel from La Conner.

  Pretty much. They could’ve overcome the lack of quality with quantity but they didn’t even have a nacho buffet. Sad!

  Other (Lummi, Sucia, Camano, McNeil, Harstine, Blakely, etc)

  all the islands except Mercer and Whidbey are great - those two are associated with my ex-wives.
  I used to go up to Neah Bay all the time. One of my best friends (RIP) and his family are from there they own a hunk of land at the mouth of the Sooes River. We used to go there all the time and climb up on Strawberry Rock which is an island during high tide. We have got stuck out there and waded/swam back. Beautiful, no people at all

  The Secret Service used to have survivalist training on Whidbey. I have no idea if they still do. When I lived in Edmonds I could look out my window and see the southern end of the island. During the summer I could see little beach fires going.

  There is still a lot of island that isn't touched. I like that I don't have to wait in line for the ferry to get there.
