Probably better ways than this to police. The dude in the car obviously didn't get The Talk but he's white so he wasn't killed. Pro tip - make sure your pepper spray is filled

This officer is going to lose his qualified immunity and cost his dept $thousands in a lawsuit.
He is power tripping because he's being recorded.

We don't see what happened prior but he doesn't make it clear this guy is detained for any crime, he cannot make the guy stop recording him until there is an arrest, and there is no R.A.C. (reasonable articulable suspicion) that a crime has been committed, being committed or is about to be committed.
Depending on the state, 5 mph or less over is a driving infraction and not a crime at all.

The guy in the car should have kept his door closed and locked window up first of all and been polite.
He could have asked for a supervisor and not answered any questions.

People need to know their rights first and foremost in their respective state.., and in this day and age you should record all interaction with police but you should never be a dick.
Be polite, you have the right to ask questions and record, and if you think the officer is out of line, ask his name badge# and if his bodycam is turned on
You Can stand your ground and politely demand a supervisor be present for the rest of the stop.

Get the fuck out of the car or roll the window down and engage. If you didn't do anything there is zero problem. Grow up and be an adult.

Again, we don't have the whole story or how this escalated to the point where the officer is preparing to use pepper spray..., but you clearly don't understand your rights and how an officer can and will trick you into giving up your rights or flat violate them.
Ive never had a problem with and never been a problem for an officer ...ever! but I know my rights and you should too.

If you choose to litigate in your car or on the side of the road, I have no sympathy for you.

Know the fucking law and comply with it. Cops always have the right to detain or cite and once the decision is made, you can take it up with the local magistrate. Arguing the constitution or the facts from the driver's seat is just stupid and non-compliant, per se.

Don't play a game you cannot win. Duh.

Not understanding something has never stopped folks here from making declarative statements on an issue.
