With the possible and arguable exception of Eason, why couldn't Pete ever do this in six years?
Heiner was the guy.
Sirmon and Yankoff were also highly rated guys. Daniel bridge gadd came to tell jokes.
Yes in terms of just TBS rankings you are correct. So either he DID follow stars or he just couldn't develop
Or his QB evaluations were as bad as the TBS sites.
I think it's some combination of the above but ultimately his QB development was really poor. It's the one aspect of the program that was abysmal under Pete. It wasn't just the QBs listed above either - he got nothing out of Cyler Myles and Troy Williams. Eventually you gotta point to the common denominator and it was Pete.
In retrospect it's amazing we got as much as we did out of Brownsocks.
Pete is about minimizing risk on offense, and his players reflected that…timid, within the system, afraid to make mistakes. I don’t see that anymore. Deboer knows what he’s doing, lets it rip, and his players (and the QB) are confident and play with swagger…

Zabransky, Moore, Southwick were all very good signal callers 🤷♂️
