The narrative also ignores that the victim was resisting arrest and in this case broke free and was eventually run down by another crew of black cops. We will see what the toxicology report says. Definitely seemed high, possibly drunk.

There's definitely an idea that if you run from the cops and get on video you get a payday.

All part of the talk I got from my Dad and then eventually gave the talk to kids. When your official view is that the cops can't chase criminals and use force then you are just going to have a lot of violence but on society by criminals instead of having the criminals arrested and jailed. The view that drunks should be able to drive around and not be pulled over if they don't want to is something that is mello approved.
