I'm no aficionado but I'll listen to a symphony or piano concerto now and then. I guess my taste is more romantic/classical from what I remember.

I love classical music but I am picky about it. Mozart A+, Indian music - Ravi Shankar A+, Phillip Glass - Glass and Shankar did a great album. I also listen to Irish folk, bluegrass (love clogging videos), and Cajun and fiddle music - Jean-Luc Ponty is one of my favorites.

I am also not an aficionado, but when I was driving a lot for work, I would fire up KING fm when stressed out, and it soothed the savage beast that I would morph into behind the wheel…I do not know it, but I have an appreciation for it.

I have a fairly respectable collection of audiophile reissues of classical recordings. Mostly 19th to early 20th century. Gershwin is probably the most recent. The Rachmaninov stuff with Arthur Rubenstein and the Chicago Symphony orchestra is especially good. Fritz Reiner was a legendary director of the symphony and I the sound is amazing. I’ll post a pic soon.
