Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.

Am I overreacting?

Service guy is here working on something. Didn't take off his shoes, and is now on the phone on a clearly personal call, which is clearly slowing him down. I'm annoyed. We keep an Asian household. @DerekJohnson

Would it be too much if I went and planted my Adidas classics in his nut sack?

Is this a home maintenance / repair related thread? If so, I will allow it.

I think we inherited these from the bankrupt finance board.

The lack of respeck from tradespeople regarding removing footwear in wet weather and/or muddy climates infuriates the shit out of me. I mean I can get giving someone a pass in AZ is you have hardwoods or tile, but in the PNW in December? Fuck off you rude sum' bitches.

Yeah, I'm not happy. So far I don't see anything but water on his shoes, but fuck.

If your contractor does not bring his own shoe covers to a residential job, than you might have hired the wrong ese from Home Depot.

    That’s on you.

@UW_Doog_Bot and I both say FO, g for assuming we're all contractors ese. The bean and I are high-level academis bros I'll have you know.

That’s not what I assumed, ese. I assumed you were a cheap fuck trying to save a plug nickel - hence the Home Depot messican laborer.

My Grandfather used to say, “El hombre que no suda no sirve.” Some truth to that I’d say.

Besides, who am I kidding anyway. Had I kicked that kid in the nuts, he’d have wiped the floor - my floor - with me.

Also, this boared is obviously chalk full of "white collar" college bois not TUFF loggers.

All men should have to learn and work at least 1 trade growing up.

I’ve dug some serious ditches with Messicans IRL. True story. Builds character.
    #MeToo

I’ll keep the white collar lifestyle 20+ years later, tyvm.

This is the shit I used to do (from a recent appt). IYKYK

Yes, those are two messicans. Yes, I cleaned up their mess in the house. No, they were not my choice for contractor.

Who gives a fuck. If they did the work well, they're worth any amount of cleaning. I average about three days of work fixing subcontractors' fuckups, so some dirt on the carpet wouldn't even be a thing if they did the job right. I'd kill for guysm who tracked mud through my house while doing a kickass job.

Eating nachos is a trade, right?

This is unreasonable numbers. Do we really need mud in the carpets? I don’t feel manly saying this, so thanks, but my area carpets cost serious money bro.

This is how you should have handled it.

"Dude - mind covering your shoes? My wife is a psycho about the floors." Then do the swirling motion with your finger next to the side of your head.

That way dude won't have any idea that you're the one that's hunched up about the floors.

    Passive aggressive. I like it.

    Welcome back!
