One the 1st time, the FB slipped and wasn’t able to block ZTF I think. Beavlet was running it down our? throats prior to that. If he doesn’t slip, Beavlet probably picks up a 1st down and eventually scores a TD to go 14 I think.
Fast forward, Smith is thinking we would’ve had this last time if a guy doesn’t slip. I’m going for it again and we’ll get it. -
I wasn't referring to going for it on 4th down. I was referring to the play calls inside the red zone. Smith went away from what had marched his offense down the field. Grubb is sometimes guilty of this too.CFetters_Nacho_Lover said:

Rewatching the game from a more calming prospective, Washington was a different team second half. They should have been blown out in the first half. That trend has to end for this season to go well. Oregon State will be a tough out for Oregon in the Civil War

The fact that OSU legitimately looked better than us at just about every level is pretty impressive. That's the last program I would've expected that from.
But just like Pete, Jimmy Smith is a stellar program and player developer, absolute dogshit of an actual game manager.
