After building a 14-point lead in the 2nd half, UW faded. UW had 62 yards on 19 plays across 5 drives and 0 points to end the half. Cal had 232 yards on 35 plays across 6 drives and 14 points. All the momentum was with Cal. It look a missed FG as time expired to go into OT where Cal fumbled on the 1-yard line on what would be a certain TD to lose the game. -
I think Petersen gets it done last night for UW.
I can can guarantee you Cristobal or Sark find a way to lose that game, albeit in much different fashions.
Cristobal would abandon the passing game and mis-manage critical possessions by going turtle on first and throwing WR screens on 3rd and 11.
Sark would end up with 150yds in penalties and 3 second half turnovers with a couple of 2nd and short trick plays turned into big TFLs.
Either way it would have been special. -
