The pitch was a routine football play, with wretched execution and run into the boundary deep. Corching.
-
The reason for the pitches is that the OL doesn't get much push and the RBs barely get yards after contact. Davis probably averages negative yards after contact, somehow. He can't break a tackle to save his life.

We were spoiled for years with stud running backs and now are below average in the stable (ILTCITS).

Newton and Nixon are better than the backs they've been playing. Petersen tryhard shit.
Newton still sucks imo. I like Nixon because he is the only back with speed.
Davis an raulapapa are pure jag. -
Most disappointing was that both units responded poorly to adversity.Canadawg said:The safety sucked but was not the reason they lost. This was:

I think if taulapapa doesn’t fumble the game goes a lot better for uw.
Definitely not ready to compete against a good team on the road when things don’t go their way. -
UW was converting third and short between the tackles all nightNorwegianHusky said:The reason for the pitches is that the OL doesn't get much push and the RBs barely get yards after contact. Davis probably averages negative yards after contact, somehow. He can't break a tackle to save his life.

It was a dumb call, but what lost the game were the two forced INT's that gave UCLA short fields and the defense playing softer than Charmin. Once Penix and Co. stopped trying to force deep throws against the zone it was pretty easy for UW to move the ball.PostGameOrangeSlices said:I never want to see one of these fucktarded plays ever again.
That safety lost *us* the game
Just do a screen pass, its the same thing and less risky -
The defense forced one very late punt and two 4 and outs deep in their own territory. You can't expect to win many games like that. UCLA's skill guys completely undressed UWs secondary.BleachedAnusDawg said:
