I pretty sure the fact that BYU and it's fans were all roundly smeared for something that never happened (Duke volleyball player claiming she was repeatedly called the N-word) had a lot to do with BYU fans trying to promote this issue. Find every last one of them on the vid and kick them the hell out of school.
They probably all watch NSNBC and CNN and think the hoax was true. And if they’re that dumb they belong elsewhere.
They should all be writing letters of apology to BYU and the Mormons.

Kate Brown’s words are pretty hallow at this point. As are those of the UO admin. They need to nip this in the bud, yesterday.
This shit ain’t hard if you believe in standards of behavior at your athletic events. BYU did an entire investigation. -

This is probably not even in the top 20 of horrible student section chants at Autzen or Mac/Matt court.
Chanting “your son hates you” at Henry Bibby loudly enough to force FSN to kill the audio and go to a commercial break still makes me chuckle.
And then I remember that I’m an adult now and that’s an extremely crass and unnecessary thing to chant at another human being.
But that was Barack Obama’s America and tensions were high…. -

BTW, I do feel a little better about Lanning after the BYU game. However, I think BYU playing in overtime against a tp 10 opponent the week before contributed to the blow out. Dominate WSU on the road, which we haven't done since Chip, then I'll feel pretty good. -
Race is just being silly. He knows Lanning and Co. are kicking ass. It’s going to matter even more in a couple of years.
Oregon will enter B1G with the proper blue chip ratio, no longer a thing with Husky fans, while DeB will enter with a MWC roster.
But they will be scrappy. If he’s not coaching at Auburn.
