Sparty isn’t Ohio State or Michigan but it’s a historically underrated program. This is the biggest stage of Deboer’s career. Have to think he’s been getting ready for this once since he took the job.

He beat Michigan and Penn State with Penix already at IU
You know that’s not how this works

We? don't do last ten years. You should post that on the other forum, which tends to be much more concerned about the relatively recent past. @MikeSeaver We? still remember Gil Dobie. James was like yesterday in DWAG time.

This is the real Michigan State right here:

To put that into perspective, they're not even the Oregon of their conference. Christ, an 11-2 Sparty team couldn't beat fucking Oregon. Michigan State is the classic Big 10 team that always sounds a lot better than they really are ... or ever were. 6 titles. Lolz. Ok, whatever blows up your dress. The truth is, MSU is a program that has been playing slightly above to above average football consistently for a very long time. That's how you get decent all-time win numbers.

You? all better beat Sparty, or this fat fuck coach you? hired is on death watch.

Beating Sparty, ILTCHT, would be a pretty good since it would likely mean that atleast the hemorrhaging from Lake has been stopped.

With a win, the program is still terminal but more like to die during the drive to the hospital rather than on the street.

Queery Does Penix have eligibility to come back next year?

Also why hasn't Dick Newton been getting carries? Still coming back from injury or doghouse? He looked like he was back to his angry explosive self in cleanup time even if PapasFritas looks alright.

Or Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, or Minnesota. But, yeah, the do look down on Purdue, Indiana and Northwestern.

Frankly, I disagree that they're underrated. Sparty is a big name in cfb ... the kind of name that gets attention if they string together 4 or 5 wins. They don't suffer from an image problem. At all. Like I said, they are a classic Big 10 program that benefits from just being a member of the old club.

Penix is eligible next year . Also not sure about newt but he was hugging and laughing with deboer walking onto the field after time ran out.

My takeaway from this conversation -- Chicago still has three and a half times the number of conference titles as Indiana. And they left 75 years ago.

    .

My guess is its the same problem as last year. None of them are world beaters even if the Virginia and Nebraska guys are slightly ahead of the left over dreck as a fit to DeBoner's system. When they are all bunched up you play the better ones and then play the better of those who saw the field long term.

Dick has had attitude issues in the past but DeBoner has the guys buying in so he has a clean slate. Let's see if he gets carries against Sparty or in conference play.

UW loves to lose the big non-conference games going back to Brock's Heisman run that ended against Nebraska in the 90's. BMSUNEM
