I know, but surprisingly, Trump also didn't care about Taiwan specifically. I am happy to dig up the exact quote, I believe it was reported by Josh Rogin. Essentially he didn't give a fuck if China invaded Taiwan either. Serious? We do support Taiwan, but how many dead Americans are you willing to sacrifice in a shooting war. Just one example, no antibiotics for a year = how many dead Americans. Then do just about every other drug, plus no chips = no manufacturing.hardhat said:

As far as dead Americans, you have a point and I'm not a chickenshit hawk. There's a cost to weigh and with all the lives lost on previous shit wars, I'm not sure. I simply want the president of the USA to just say we support Taiwan. I didn't say I want to go to war. -
I'm tired of virtue signaling. China is a threat. Having some sunk aircraft carriers doesn't accomplish a thing. Turning our economy over to the chicoms is a threat and we have done that. Having the US as the world's energy superpower and shipping LNG to China helps us and makes them dependent on us. Having us independent on drugs and semiconductor chips is good for us.hardhat said:

I support those policies. We're also shipping them our coal while forcing US companies and cities to 'go green'. There's virtue signaling and there's being true to your word and implementing multiple policies. China is stirring up shit with nearly every country on its border besides Russia.
