You're saying the lowdowns and "if it saves one life" policies were effective and worth all of the consequences and now things have changed so much from this tone in 2021 and 2020 the CDC is spot on by telling people to just do what is best for them. I've never said either of those policies were effective... but yes Original covid and Delta were far more dangerous.

If I was running things I would never have mandated anything I would have given the facts and maybe said it's a good idea to get the vaccine(the numbers show for certain populations it was 100% necessary) but it's your choice as any medical choice should be.
