I think mine's a Spanish made Ruby which is a copy of the 1905? Browning. It's in surprisingly good condition and the design still holds up. Haven't shot it yet bc who knows what might happen. Both for safety and bc I don't want to destroy an antique with real history to it. Will post pics in the wam if @Sledog gets a hallpass.Sledog said:The .380 ACP has been around since 1908 and was designed by firearms genius John Browning to go with his new Colt 1908 pocket pistol it was more powerful than the .32ACP cartridge. ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol. Also used widely in Europe as FN and many other European countries built guns for it.

If it's in good shape and functional shooting it would be fine. I've never know steel that has a modicum of care to get weaker to the point of failure. I shoot old guns. I shoot old ammo. Oldest ammo was 1918 shot fine. Have 1930's ammo that shoots great.UW_Doog_Bot said:
