Was going ro point his out too.insinceredawg said:
The 2021 class was massively skewed by Huard's 99 rating. Megwa was added to that class too because he reclassified in the fall but he wasn't part of the original signing class. If you swap out Huard for Keinholz the score is pretty similar.Doug said:Miley_Cyrus said:It’s great to see people actually want to come here. 3 stars, etc… I get it. But they didn’t want to come to play for Jimmy so it’s at least a positive sign, even though we have tons of work to do still.
Jimmy’s first class: 88.03
This class: 87.04
Huard currently sits at about a 3* ,value because he helped bring in some other big time guys. If not for that, you could adjust his career value to date down to 1*, and that's only because 1* is the lowest rating.
Still holding out some hope though... -
But which conference will they play in?FecalFeast said: -

Not even mentioning Hatchett speaks volumes.godawgst said:
Kienholz, a 6-foot-3, 185-pound quarterback from Pierre, SD, verbally committed to Washington over scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Wyoming, Arkansas State, Colorado State, Illinois, Kansas State, Minnesota, and North Dakota State. He officially visited Wisconsin and North Dakota State before taking an official visit to Seattle this past weekend.haie said:
Kienholz, rated a three-star quarterback by 247Sports' composite rating, is ranked the 42nd-best quarterback in the country and the top-ranked recruit from the state of South Dakota.
Your honor the defense rests.
Tell us where you and had him on your big board January 1st this year?
@Haie, if you were just trolling the board, I'd get it, but you actually buy the crap your trying to sell. That's the most amazing this about all this.
Where did I have the qb "on my big board"? Jesus. You don't get it. You need a baseline of talent and then it's all coaching and scheme. As evidenced every year by all the schools who massively over achieve their "talent" as well as schools like USC, Texas, and Washington in 2021.
This full cycle before even playing a game looks pretty good. The staff could still suck on the field but I don't think they will. Had fresno beating down teams after being eliminated from the ccg and was the #2/#3 team with only top 7 or 8 talent in the Mountain West.
You said over and over that UW would be pulling FCS/MW level classes. Completely wrong. -

Honestly, not a big fan of taking this kid at this point. Huffman had nothing good to say about him except "he could be good someday". Both tackles in this class are extremely underwhelminghuskyhooligan said: -

Same. At least we have 2 other OT prospects committed so we have the luxury of taking a flyer on this kid. Jimmy would've taken this commitment and called it good on OL recruiting.bananasnblondes said:

I forgot Jackett was an OT. I really like him. Hemming doesn't do much for me and it sounds like he picked UW because Utah dropped him.insinceredawg said:

You can never tell with o line guys though
Sounds like our next recruit will be a big one -
According to who?bananasnblondes said:

My gut tells me they basically know who they are gonna end up with to finish off the class. I assume they might save 1 spot for a late decommit but they know who's coming as of now.insinceredawg said:

Not the most exciting, but if he has a career like Jame Atoe, that'd be fine.

I'm thinking Devin Burleson. Roughly the same size and rating.whatshouldicareabout said:Not the most exciting, but if he has a career like Jame Atoe, that'd be fine.

Incredible seeing as Oregon is in the same spot in a shit media market as a pretend national brand.insinceredawg said:
It's going to come out how people can care about Nike without caring about the community college they own. -
Didn't MWC talent beat Oregon twice last year? Like, twice badly?insinceredawg said:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91U6-fyrrmQ

I can't imagine half of the kids stick to their commitments if UW doesn't move to the Big 10.

Looks like we either let Ngoyi think about it too long or are looking elsewhere. All the crystal dongs have swung back to Iowa State.insinceredawg said:Looks like our WR class is going to be:
Rashid Williams - 90 on 247
Taeshaun Lyons - 89
Beni Ngoyi - 86
Keith Reynolds - 84
One of the national 247 analysts said Ngoyi is going to get a bump in his rating soon. That's a solid haul for Shephard's first class here and hopefully this is the floor for what he can do at UW. -
New CBs suggest Sheridan fumbled Bowers. It's pretty crazy how difficult it is for UW coaches to recruit TEs and DBs when those are the positions where players have seen a lot of success
-
Maybe it's hard to sell the last staffs success as your own. I know, sales are sales and Juice and Sheridan are struggling. Don't twist.bananasnblondes said:New CBs suggest Sheridan fumbled Bowers. Everyone hates on Ford but seeing how Petersen turned out here....

So how many more kids are we expecting in this class?
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1m_vhaFS8J1PQOSEb6OfUkkBXy3CacQG1jt4sDT2Doe8/edit?pli=1#gid=781963348
Per this spreadsheet, we're already at +2, and it sounds like we're in good position for Jordan Sanford and Taeshaun Lyons. Not sure what'll happen with TE, but I expect 1. Looks like we'll need another PK, which may be via the portal or JUCO. That'd be 6 over the 85 limit, though there will be some attrition between now and LOI day. -
