Disagree. Doogs are always lurking just beneath the surfacedannarc said:Winning solves alot, maybe it gets us to 8-5 and beating Oregon for once. Nobody here thinks that we are getting in the playoffs anytime soon. Those Doogs are long gone

The fact there has been no uptick in recruiting with DeBoer is a red flag obviously

Don’t tell that to the Discord gang, the new Real Dawg gang, Jordan Reffett, etc because they’ll tell you all is good because of visitsDerekJohnson said:The fact there has been no uptick in recruiting with DeBoer is a red flag obviously

Eklund offered a lengthy WDWHA on Wayne today. Despite it being from Eklund, it echoed a lot of what has been said about recent freshmen 5-stars from this area. In short, he's been bigger, stronger, and faster than every kid on the field since his freshman year but doesn't put much effort in and doesn't stand out among the other players when he should be dominating. Also, he's probably headed to IMG next year.

You have to give a shit about trying to win before you can actually win
The schedule this year has a chance to serve as a mirage and get people to double down
I don’t think he’s the first in the pecking order at edge for Oregon either. However, Eklund is a total douche canoe for how he wrote that.bananasnblondes said:Eklund offered a lengthy WDWHA on Wayne today. Looks like Wayne took notice of Eklund’s WDWHA -
Even if he becomes the next Kayvon type, and takes half of the plays off. The times he does try, he'll more than likely change the entire game. All you need to look at are the 2019 and 2020 Pac 12 title games. Kayvon was by far the best player on the field, and single handedly decided those games.mrdoog said:

How did he do in 2021?
If you need Eklund for motivation you already lost -

It will. We play in the PAC 12. Winning helps. A winning, exciting brand of football always helps.Tequilla said:

We are so far from Alabama, Georgia, etc. We very well could be a middle of the conference PAC 12 team.
The AD and upper campus are broken. Petersen won though, and if DeBoer is a good to great coach he will too.
UW will recruit top 25 classes if they win and with good coaching, that can win the PAC 12.
It really doesn’t work like that. Did you ever play?greenblood said:

Kayvon was good. He wasn’t going multiple games without sacks and that is in a much tougher area of high school football.
All that freak athlete shit goes out the window as the competition increases.Very few are actually so much better than everyone else that they can coast.
Jaden Wayne is vastly superior to Smalls as a high school prospect. He’s at least getting some sacks. He’s also a good WR. -
It’s Par for the course for Ecklund he consistently uses latent racist terms to describe young African American players who he feels will not sign with UW, he did the same to Smalls at one time using the word “thug”. Honestly he consistently uses “dog whistles”. He is trying to defend himself by pointing to the fact he didn’t say the same about JTT, Emeka, & Connelly. The big difference he thought UW had a chance until the end with all 3. It’s no coincidence that he is always embarrassed when he’s talking recruiting, players aren’t stupid he’s and their families are not stupid dude is wack and racist. He covers UW recruiting but relies on Huffman to have insight on recruiting. Shit Ruth was 100x better than him at building relationships with recruits and having actual insider information.

waiting for Mark Emmert to declare Ektard the next Willie Lyles for steering recruits to Oregon

Ehh, Huffman is FSP’s propaganda machine. He will always wax poetically about those guys and they will come to him first with the scoop.ATLDawg said:It’s Par for the course for Ecklund he consistently uses latent racist terms to describe young African American players who he feels will not sign with UW, he did the same to Smalls at one time using the word “thug”. I didn’t read what he said about Wayne. Smalls was pretty obviously overrated.
I’m not defending Eklund because he does suck, but there are plenty of guys that do nothing but praise the recruits. -
I've long held the belief that guys like Huffman and Biggins are constantly getting their palms greased by parents, AAU coaches, etc.RoadDawg55 said:

I remember Biggins commenting about how fun Warren G’s pregame tailgates were. It wasn’t a coincidence that Warren G’s son was massively overranked.bananasnblondes said:

The same info we’ve created for free here. I hope he ends up good but from a distance I agree.
