So, no government intervention in private lives of citizens ever????? You vex me Pawz. At any given point in time, only the government can keep me from violating any one of your many rights under the constitution.

Same thing here. You know the right answer. I know you do.
When it comes to personal sovereignty, the medical decisions of an individual, absolutely not.

We? just went through 2+ years of bureaucrats gaslighting people into being a walking medical experiment. And when that didn't work - mandates. Mandates in violation of every medical ethics book ever written. Thankfully I'm still a member of the control group.

Irregardless, I still want to know why it's ok in your mind to trade one-life for another? And why do you get to be the arbiter of which life is the greater value?

Creep the head of HondoFS's death panels. Who would have guessed.

It happened to my former brother-in-law by some crazy woman in L.A. He took responsibility and worked with the grandparents to raise the kid in the absence of the crazy witch who revolved between insane asylums, jails and crackhouses the entire kid's childhood.

Had it not been for wealthy grandparents, the kid's life would've been impoverished and shitty, despite her dad being a very decent guy.

These are the rarest of cases, however, when things work out okay for the kid and the trapped father.

I personally agree that a "termination" is a taking of a human life.

But I'm also wise enough to know 2/3 of the country will gladly look the other way and allow or support it, in case it happens to them or in their family.

Like war, the U.S. population will accept a significant amount of casualties to protect and defend their own asses.

Reality trumps Morality on this one. Take the L and move on.
You don't know what loss means in this case. If you truly understood what torment forever and the absence of God for eternity meant, you would drop to your knees and beg forgiveness. CC is dead spot on and I am proud of his stance here.

Why you no like the cheese I leave out for you in this mouse trap?

This is why I like you. You're wiley.

Anyways, my hesitancy in regards to state force are well documented on these boards. As is my respect for individuals' rights. You guysm have me coming around on this issue except for one thing,

I still think this is all distraction politics and going to be fairly moot as an issue when we all run out of food and half the population is sterile anyways.
    It’s always the shiny object.

You just couldn't help yourself. In the name of Jesus, don't pollute this higher-level discussion with your perverted and insatiable fetish for 'gotcha' politics and unrelenting need to rub people's noses in shit whenever you find the chance. As the Tug's new overlord, 99% of this board is your real estate. Be a good Christian and spare this little discussion about clarifying a compelling moral imperative and leave it to those who wish to peacefully and sincerely explore their conscience and find the right way. I'm doing good work here. Leave me to it.
But, but the Christian Right might do something!!!!

You are a hyper-emotional, stupid religious twit. Fuck You and your pious religious bullshit.

I agree with CC on the science and medical facts, that abortion is taking a life and that it's bad.

But it's legal and needs to stay that way.

Beyond that, drop to your knees and suck-off your prophet somewhere else.

Religious dogma? There are many anti abortion atheists. Science/Biology says life begins at conception with any species. Saying it doesn’t is simply a way to make pro abortion folks feel better about ending the life. People who smuggle declare they believe in “science” need to accept this fact. They can be certainly be pro abortion but one must always acknowledge that it does end a life. Stomping on a fertilized chicken egg ends a life. They can say it ends a life but don’t care, that’s fine. Make that argument. Don’t dance around the “when does life begin” bullshit.
I worded it wrong. Not life, but something resembling a human that's beyond a clump of cells

The last refuge for every scoundrel is religion.

The Christian Right needs to mind their own business and lead by example.

From Protesting Abortion clinics to that "God Hates Fags" shit, the Christian Right activists do nothing but piss people off and make the truly looney left look like a reasonable counterbalance to a Looney Right. They will never move the left or center a single inch while they keep giving their causes black eyes. ISAFNRC, I know.

Angry atheists are the best atheists. That’s how we know they are religious.

Give me a fucking break. The god hates fags freaks are a fringe of fringe of fringe they no more represent the Christian Right than Frank James the NYC subway shooter represents all black people. The Christain Right is a leftwing boogie man. There is nothing they do or think that impacts me and my life in any way. I can't say the same about the religious left.

Abortion is their thing. And it needs not to be.
It's not about babies. It's about tar babies. And feathers.
    Nothing good comes from that.

Great and for many on the left, abortion is there thing. It's the sacrament for their religion. You're just wrong if you believe that pushing for abortion without any limits, paid for by the taxpayers is some kind of political loser.

Developing human life. Abortion interrupts that development.

    And I don't care.
