Yeah Tissot is really nice at that price point. Super impressed with the powermatic80 lineup.BleachedAnusDawg said:How is this thread at the bottom of page 4?
I really like the Tissot PRX line. Royal Oak vibes, but not an homage or copy. They just released pics of the upcoming chronograph version, as well as green dials being offered for the quartz and automatic versions. I probably will get a quartz one to have an integrated bracelet in the lineup without getting in the way of my baller chronograph goals.

I've been a little busy myself, bought a classic sea dweller 40mm from 98 as a more discrete bang around, and then through a little horse trading ended up with a 42mm pelagos.
The lineup is redundant and will certainly be sold/traded to shake it up. But for now appreciating them all.
The pelagos is major bang for the buck, already holds a soft spot in my heart.
The spring loaded divers extension mechanism on the clasp is next level, super lightweight (titanium), helium escape valve, 500m waterproof... It's basically a true tool watch like Rolex used to be.
Also the lume is badass

Personally, I think the Tudor is the best looking of that bunch, but all are great watches.
-
All three are fantastic. I like the medium, large, holy fuck size thing going on here. Just a great collection. And yeah, Tudor is THE best watch dollar for dollar in the world. Period. I'm serious. The Pelagos and the BB58 are just absurd value.

Omega x Swatch "Moonswatch" collaboration just released at select Swatch stores. I'd like to pick up the Mission to Neptune version if they start selling them online. There's also a Mission to Uranus version, of course.

Couple new additions to keep this on the front page.
The pelagos was short lived and turned into the Pepsi Tudor
Swaye pointed out to me that the darker shade of blue actually makes this appear like a Coke GMT depending on the shadow. Absolutely love this and will keep as my everyday for the foreseeable future.
Then I got "the call" from my Rolex AD for my heaviest hitter yet.
TT white dial Sky Dweller. This thing is flashy as hell but I love it as my dressier sport watch. Perfect douchebag Easter Sunday accessory. -
Congrats on the newest additions, @Doogles. Those are two fantastic time pieces. I'm really envious re the Sky-Dweller. I think the fluted bezel works great on the SD.
You're definitely fast-strategy as fuck! -
Used to hate the Sky Dweller, but now think it's pretty nice especially the gold with black dial variant. Two-tone is also pimp.
-
@Doogles the SD is baller AF.
-
Rolex hated tall people in the early 80s. The 42 mm fluted Bazel looks so much better than the 36 mm. I speak from experience.

I did not purchase, but was fortunate to try on a couple blancpain fifty fathoms today. These are fookin hot. I'm actually tempted to sell the DeepSea and roll it into the Blue titanium FF on sail cloth.

Blancpain is fucking mega baller diver status. Axe @YellowSnow

I would definitely make that trade for the Blancpain if it were my decision to make. Only part I don't really care for is the date location. It probably should just not have a date wheel at all.
-
The dive bezel on the Rolex is much smoother and more satisfying to rotate than the Blancpain as well (though the FF is more pronounced and stiff between clocks, this is probably intentional for underwater purposes, however Rolex is like butter on glass and I find it much more enjoyable)BleachedAnusDawg said:I would definitely make that trade for the Blancpain if it were my decision to make. Photo dump, also new Tudor FXD pelagos. Titanium with fixed lugs, commissioned by French special forces Marine Nationale as a true modern tool watch.
Notice the bezel counts down instead of timing how long. This is because it's not for keeping track of oxygen underwater(computers do that). It's for tracking distance going a certain direction to navigate underwater in stealth mode. A real modern bad ass tool.

Why would one turn the bazel on a dive watch without scuba gear on ?Doogles said:

State of the collection update:
Yacht Master 40 Rhodium dial with platinum bezel.
Biderectiona bezel, more contoured case shape, and polished center links differentiate this piece as a thinner, more elegant option to the sub.

@Doogles that is such a great watch. I almost bought it but could never find it at retail after the craze started. Looks fantastic.
