Got my SMP 300 M back from a the shop. Was always curious what the Omega ass gaskets looked like. So there's 2 big ones and 3 little guys. New helium valve for all the deep water snorkeling I may or may not do in Australia or Bora Bora in the coming years.

I liked the SMP300 so much I got another but green dial and bezel(Omega's version of the hulk)
The traditional bracelet for this watch doesn't taper and is a little outdated imo so I went mad scientist and replaced it with the OEM 50th anniversary flat link. I had to use aftermarket end links to allow the fitment to the case, but I think it looks stunning this way. It has a 20-16mm taper which makes it sleaker,. Lighter, and overall more comfortable to me. -
For reference here is the Traditional bracelet. It's not bad, I just wanted something different. Purists hate it, but I don't really care.

Let Omega be Omega. -
Looks better without the old man bracelet. Sorry, Yella.

Short answer: yes. At the rate it is imploding you will have subs in cases at retail in the next year I'd guess. Daytonas will stay hard to get, but I bet even Pepsis will be in cases in 2-3 years. The party is over. Nobody is buying. Everyone is selling but trying to hold artificially high prices so they don't completely go underwater on stock. It's a mess if you were buying at peak levels.YellowSnow said: -

Who buys a watch and flips it? You should love that thing and keep it forever.

You can already walk in and buy the JV luxury of your choosing. Big boy brands are next in the coming 12 months. Actually, when I was in Chicago this past August I stopped in the big boutique on the Magnificent Mile and they had some Rolex in cases and available. Not the GMT, Daytona type stuff, but 2 years ago there was nothing at any AD's.
