We can look to places that never required masks and compare those to the outcomes of places that did and come up with our answer. I don’t think it’s a easy as “people are sick of it”. If there was a real and significant risk and wearing a mask made a significant reduction in that risk, most people wouldn’t even need to be mandated to wear one.
Add this to the fact that many if not most politicians who were behind mandates didn’t even wear one…meaning to me they don’t even believe their own bullshit.
Any place that requires me to wear one will be politely told to fuck off as I walk out the door.
