I’ve had 2 coworkers die of heart attacks and 3 have strokes in 2021, anecdotal but significant to me.
My employer provided term life insurance price went up 10x for 2022 (MetLife), they clearly know somethings up.
Also 40% up for 18-65yo working people (this is employer provided life insurance) so you can assume that base rate is almost zero.
I personally don’t want to go down that rabbit hole, but the cognitive dissonance of thinking an insurance CEO doesn’t know what he’s talking about is pretty wild -
