UW announces Home and Homes with BYU and Michigan!

I fucking hate Michigan, hopefully they don't get a good coach by then.
-
How long before we hear complaints about the schedule being too tuff? As was the rallying cry for many excuse making doogs for a few years.
-
Yeah fuck Michigan, look forward to playing them. An excellent tier 1 OOC foe.
-
Another thing to keep in mind ...
Jood apparently got up early enough to pass on that the game at Boise will be either a Thursday/Friday game (which means ESPN) ... but also that switches out the Sacramento State game that was planned for the 5th. Could mean that we're looking to buy out that game and replace with a better opponent on the 19th.
Further, with the struggles in the Hawai'i Athletic Department, we could also be looking at needing to scramble that game next year on the 12th. -
link?

Looks like I'm FS for my last post ... forgot about Utah State next year on the 19th and moving the Sacramento State game back to the 12th with Hawaii going to somewhere else in the future (i.e. will never happen).
This is what I get for going to the actual UW website. -
Good post, great gif. Decent chit, CokeBetterThanPepsi.CokeGreaterThanPepsi said:YES!

Step in the right direction. Is it too late to cancel some of the future dreck while we are at it? I have no interest in watching us scrimmage Big Sky teams.

Cant wait to see peterman's 2 stars kick the fuck out of meeechigan in the big house

Those upcoming schedules are an embarrassment to humanity.
-
So does this mean we don't get to play Georgia State anymore?
-
Disappointed to see the Wisconsin game fall off

Random thoughts on the schedule:
1) One of Idaho or Portland State needs to fall off of the 2016 schedule
2) 2017 has an open date that needs to be filled by either a neutral field game or putting together a 2017/2020 home and home with someone
3) 2021 needs to be filled with a regional team like a Fresno, Utah St, etc. that will prepare the team for the game the following week @ Michigan. -
"Those upcoming schedules are an embarrassment to humanity. "
One Power five team per year (Boise gets the ND exemption since they are a better team than ND). One FCS per year and one non Power Five FBS team which may or may not be decent.
Until the other power conferences schedule 9 conference games - this is as good as it gets.
In the meantime count the worst P12 south team on the schedule as another Power 5 opponent.
-
Look at this shit for the next 7 years of football - A D1-AA team every year:
Sept. 3 or 4 – at Boise State (for an ESPN broadcast)
Sept. 12 – Sacramento State
Sept. 19 – Utah State
2016
Sept. 3 – Rutgers
Sept. 10 – Idaho
Sept. 17 – Portland State
2017
Sept. 2 – at Rutgers
Sept. 9 – Montana
Sept. 16 – open
2018
Sept. 1 – North Dakota
Sept. 8 – Nevada
Sept. 29 – BYU
2019
Aug. 31 – Eastern Washington
Sept. 14 – Hawaii
Sept. 21 – at BYU
2020
Sept. 5 – Michigan
Sept. 12 – Sacramento State
Sept. 19 – open
2021
Sept. 4 – Montana
Sept. 11 – open
Sept. 18 – at Michigan -
Okay BYU also gets ND exemption. FYFMFE.

I'm tired of UW playing BYU - I'd rather see UW play some new ACC team or 2nd tier Big 10 team.
Michigan will unfortunately probably be good again by 2020. -

We need to play good teams.

Michigan is a killer road game..awesome tailgating. BYU is a stupid road game. Win? No big deal. Lose? Out of playoff. The altitude is a tremendous disadvantage for visitors. Will do nothing for SOS. Idiotic move by Woodless. Fuck him!

Clemson, Miami, or Virgina Tech would be much better than BYU and probably double the TV exposure. Pac teams would match up really well against these consistently, overrated, top-tier, ACC teams.dnc said:

You said "Michigan will unfortunately probably be good again by 2020." Why is this unfortunate?
I agreed the rest of your poast, hence the upvote. I totally disagree with the idea it's unfortunate Michigan would be good.

Years with odd numbers we schedule 2 home and 1 away. Years with even numbers, we schedule 3 home games. That way we always have 7 home games each season.
The open dates for 2017, 2020 and 2021 are all going to be filled with Idahos or SJSUs or other shit tier teams (not D1-AA teams tho).
Was BYU really the best we could do for 2018-2019? I'd love to see an SEC or Big 12 or ACC team there, but it's difficult to get them to travel to Seattle. -

1. I didn't realize Gregggggggggggggg Bell posted here.
2. I didn't realize Gregggggggggggggg Bell still worked for UW. -
How many batteries does it take to beat Michigan?

Agree, and after those two years it will be followed by another 6 years of San Jose States and Nevadas. Why is Eastern Washington already scheduled for 2019? Woody should only be using them as a backup in case shit hits the fan.TierbsHsotBoobs said:
