As far as I know the Director of Recruiting role is more logistical based, setting up visits, meetings with HS’s, in home meetings, junior day etc.longduckdong said:What does a director of recruiting actually do?
The player development side that Courtney Morgan is in is more evaluating prospective recruits, helping the coaches determine who get offers, setting the overall recruiting board, looking at portal players, as well as building relationships with players, Hs programs, and 7 on 7 coaches.
For anyone who knows more please feel free to point out where I am wrong or if there are other responsibilities. -

Yea, that was a family friend of mine. I think part of it was just the trickle down of whatever recruiting strategy or lack there of the last few years, but there was something about lack of attention to detail, forgetting recruits or their parents names when they came to visit, and a general sense of disorganization. I assume it was dawgpound and not dawgman but a reliable poster said he had a connection in the program and said Glenn treated it like an 8 to 4:30 job.
