Black Eyed Peas
I still remember the first time I threw down in first or second grade. I was surprised to find that the other kid knew how to fight too and punched me right in the nose.RaceBannon said:I'm sure I grew up a little earlier than @dflea but you had to know how to fight
Daily at home and my first school fight was in first grade
No weapons and teachers kind of let it go. No cops no real punishment -

Jefferson Airplane/Starship/Uber RideAre you kidding me? I lived in an apartment building across the street from Civic Field from 2000-2007. I remember one Taste of Edmonds where Starship and Bowie songs were being played and I thought it was a cover band.
I could be wrong, but the guy on stage sure looked and sounded like Mickey Thomas and they were playing all the shitty Starship songs so I assumed it was them at the time. At the time I couldn't have fathomed a tribute band for Starship but it could have been. -
This jogged the memory...I had an acquaintance that played guitar in the early 90's for Starship. He despised it, was in between gigs, and couldn't pass up the dough. Said it was the only job he ever took in a long career, solely for the money. Loved working with Mickey Thomas, and the last time I heard from him still jams with him...csb

Same. A lot of my friends followed them around in the early 90s, so one might think I'm in the demographic. I never "got it" though (their words).El_K said:I don’t get the Grateful Dead.

You mean you don't like 3 hours of noodling? Ever experienced it high? That really takes it to the next level.chuck said:

Funny you used the word noodling. That's perfect. -
