Great piece, even if I disagree with your handle.

Thanks for the article. Good chit Cokey.

Feces you worthless cunt, allow me to explain something to you. The Fire Marshal and I actually add something of value here. You're just part of the 81% of griswold.com refugees who go largely unnoticed here, moreover you wouldn't be missed if you diaff.
Pack up your shit, go and spend a special night buttfucking Timer while you guys formulate departure plans, and get on the fuck back to doogienights.com -

Nice and concise Cokehead. However, don't get all cocky and get to thinking you're the new Collegedoog, or something.

What I really like about Petersen's recruiting philosophy is how much it resembles that of Chip Kelly in his last couple years at Oregon. He recruited specifically to his system, was very stingy with scholarship offers, would not officially offer kids until they came on a visit and met with the coaches, and let the kids know that if they chose to look around after committing their spot could be gone. I remember reading recruiting reports from kids who had offers from everywhere in the country but Oregon and they would say "I'm reaaly hoping for that Oregon offer. That's special."
Of course this was in direct contrast to Sark and his coaches giving kids marriage proposals, showing up on their doorstep woofing, and other embarrassing shit. The results of these two differing styles: the only thing more lopsided between Kelly and Sark than the scores on the field was the results of the recruiting battles between them. This was incredibly apparent in the recruiting of 5* OT Arik Armstead. Tosh and Sark put up some fucking 3-ring circus light show for him and his family, made some special uniform for him, and talked shit about all the other schools he was considering. Chip and staff played it straight and said "look, we have something special going on, we're not gonna talk about other programs or blow smoke up your ass. We win, we're selective, and we want you to play for us" Guess who he picked.
If Pete gets shit done on the field, his OKG recruiting that all the morons are whining about will be a huge asset to the future of UW football -
I thought this was about OBK

What does this have to do with Tim Tebow?

I still can't figure out what OKG stands for.

Sark is a great recruiter. Everyone says so. And Chip Kelly might be gay.bananasnblondes said:What I really like about Petersen's recruiting philosophy is how much it resembles that of Chip Kelly in his last couple years at Oregon. Great article ...
From a PC perspective though, I'd take the "sponsor" pic out of things ... not needed and grounds to cause issues.

But bananaboat , that philosophy doesn't work...we lost Eason because Pete offered so late. He waited until Eason turned 15 and to see him throw. Of course Skinny, a future coug, himself said it didn't matter. But what does Eason know? Kim knows everything okg.bananasnblondes said:What I really like about Petersen's recruiting philosophy is how much it resembles that of Chip Kelly in his last couple years at Oregon. "...it pains me that this article even needs to be written."
It didn't need to be written. People who "get it" already understood OKG. People who don't get it are dipshits that will never get it, so writing about it won't help them. They're dumb. They pay $10.95 to have people tell them what to think.
But I still enjoyed your piece. Good stuff. -
