I don't get the logic here that's espoused by so many. We need the illegal Mexicans? Why? So that trashy American companies can skirt the law and exploit them by paying them shit wages, instead of hiring Americans who need the jobs? I don't give a fuck about the economic health of such companies. They should just flush themselves down the toilet.

OBK - look at the second and third order effects of anything you are proposing. Lots of vested interests and both political parties in the US, as well as Mexico, benefit mightily from the status quo.
