The "worst" thing you can say about Petersen at this point is that he's selective on who he goes after, makes sure that they are kids that have the skills necessary to succeed in his program, and that the areas that he emphasizes for his program don't appeal to everybody.

And you know what, I'm 100% ok with that because for every kid that this program doesn't appeal to it will appeal that much more to kids that fit what he's looking for like Wellington ... who probably doesn't even give a second thought to Boise State if Petersen was still there for obvious reasons.

What KJV didn't get when Petersen was hired, doesn't get about Petersen today, and will never get about Petersen is the fact that he's 92 and fucking 12 for a reason as a D1 HC and has a who's who's list of notches on his belt from his experience playing the "big boys" of college football for a damn good reason. There's a greater than 81% chance that Petersen knows what the fuck he's doing ... and he doesn't give a shit whether idiots like KJV know why he does what he does or not.
