To be fair I don't recall him running on "I will block counties from having mask/vaccine requirements." I thought he ran on exactly what he is doing - letting the counties decide what they want to do. Which I support btw. I always believe in local government over state government, and state over federal, etc. Still a pussy though.
Virginians can expect a shift in vaccine and mask mandates once Governor-elect Glenn Youngkin is sworn in.
After his inaugural ceremony on Jan. 15, Youngkin said he will not mandate masks and vaccines but–unlike some Republican governors–he will not attempt to block localities from implementing their own requirements. -
