It seems to me like the dline is slow, the oline isn't physical, the WRs drop every other pass and arent physical.
The safetys dont hit hard. The LBs shuffle between looking great and looking horrible.
The nickels blow coverages and dont support well vs the run.
The TEs are okay I guess. Corner is good. Punter is NFL caliber.
The scheme sucks, the coaches arent good. But I dont see any badasses that are taking over the game either. I see soft.
Edit: forgot the RBs. Meh.

Raw talent? Sure. But they obviously haven't developed since Pete left. Couple that with disastrous scheming and in-game coaching, and you're left with a bottom rung conference team that is a rotten husk of its old self.

These players are soft and were soft even when Pete was the coach.

I like to blame the players when the program is rotting from the top, that’s what I like to do.

UW doesn't have any great players.
UW has guys that with good coaching and good schemes, could be good players.
But with bad coaching, bad schemes ... and a bad culture ... are JAGs.
