Mike Leach gets a raise

It took Price quite a bit longer than that, but he's no Rich Brooks. So there's that.CuntWaffle said:

What are you talking about??? I love Coach Leach, just not in the same way you do.Cuogar_Gold said:
If you don't agree with this, you're a fucking doog. Cue Mick putting down the xbox controller to talk about how the refs jobbed UW in the '12 AC.WilburHooksHands said:I love Leach and I firmly believe he would have eventually plungered Sark, not just kept it close and waited for the collapse. He's the perfect coach for Pullman (Lubbock's long lost twin) and the cuogs will be respectable while he is there. Craig James really fucked Tech.
How many times have you swung on his sword???

I actually thought Wulff did okay given what he inherited. Probably the worst situation in Pac history. 7 certainly wouldn't have done any better. 4 wins in 2011 and 2 3 pt losses playing backup QBs the entire year. Really tough luck for him that year. But they made the right move because they could get someone a lot better in Leech.Cuogar_Gold said:Before Leech got there, it was absolutely embarrassing. We were the real 0-12 team. Our linemen literally looked like high school players and had no business being in the pac: dumpy, soft, and small.
9-16 from where we were is a massive improvement, he is performing adequately in recruiting, and most importantly we actually look like a p12 team for the first team in forever. He's worth every pemmy imo.
Somewhere on football outsiders I think they rank teams on the road and at home. WSU probably was a top 25 road team last season. Played 5 top 25 SRS teams on the road and went 2-3 with close losses to Auburn and UW. In a year or two Stanford & Oregon will come back to the pack and Leech every few years or so could have WSU as a factor in the race. -
My problem with Wulff, other than that he's inferior to Leech, was that he "didn't realize how far off WSU was." Well he fucking should have.

Absolute nonsense about Wulff. He was complete trash, one of the worst coaches in P12 history.HeretoBeatmyChest said:

Leach is a good coach for WSU. It's not really debatable. They're going to be a threat and a tough win for UW every year going forward.
He would have won at UW too, just not as consistently as I think Petersen will. -
Holy shit, people other than Harv defending WULFF! ???
-
The thing I like about Leach is that he's batshit crazy, so regardless of whether he wins or loses, it will be interesting.
-
Maybe he could buy a few running backs with that extra cash.

I'm sorry, but there is no way a head coach deserves a raise when this was the result of his most recent game:

Unless you've blown a 15 point lead to Colorado Fucking State with 3 minutes left, you have no right to judge.BlowItUp said:I'm sorry, but there is no way a head coach deserves a raise when this was the result of his most recent game:

I like to act like a college football program that has a .363 winning percentage over the last 11 years is above the New Mexico Bowl. I do that.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

So I'm supposed to care about a total shit game just because my team is in it? Were you excited when the huskies won their half-ass bowl?BlowItUp said:

Sure it was nice they made it to a bowl, no way in fucking hell was that going to be their best win of the season though. The players didn't give a fuck and Leech was on a massive ego trip against a MWC team he wanted to squash. -
The players didn't care even though it was WSUs first bowel

They were blowing them out, took the foot off the gas, got close so blow them out again, took the foot off the gas, etc. Then at the end of the game all you had to do was run the clock out and punt and walk away with a less than impressive victory, but Leech needed to try and get another 'Fuck You' in there and the result is a historically bad loss.
We're the fucking cuogs. We lost our lead in the Super Bowl and Colorado Fucking State was our consolation prize. Go ahead and hang the lack of motivation for that bowl game on Leech if you want, I have no problem with that. But you're confusing players genuinely caring about a shitty bowl with homer fans genuinely caring about a shitty bowl game.
edit: You must have been fucking shocked when ASU lost their bowl game too. -
C'mon son. They were outscored 35-10 the last 32 minutes of the game. That wasn't a clock management issue, it was a fucktarded full-on couging it unable to move the ball or stop the other guys issue.TierbsHsotBoobs said:

Agree with Blackie. I wouldn't say Leach blew it. All he did was snap the ball too early on one play. They lost because they fumbled two straight times and couldn't do shit on defense when it mattered.

So besides the fact that Lubbock is close to 9 times bigger than Pullman, they're basically like twins.
Kind of like Fetters and Kim. Twin.Sons.Different.Mothers.

We hate doogs more than we like coogs.
We starve our illegitimate children to pony up for a flag to fly over HS, and don't know who we are playing that week.
We are a National laughing stock by showing up to Game Day every week to wave our flag, yet we think it's innovative and cool
Yep, you are coogs
